What is QURBANI?


The Urdu word QURBANI is derived from the Arabic word qurbani. The substance used to gain the nearness of Allah is called QURBANI. QURBANI meaning Sacrifice .    QURBANI is the name given to all the good deeds we do in order to please Allah, but in general the name is used to slaughter cattle for Allah. QURBANI was obligated upon the earlier societies.

Specialties of Qurbani 


"There is nothing more pleasing to Allah than doing Qurbani on the Day of Qurbani."

The hacked animal will come to life on the Day of Resurrection with horns and hair.

When the Qurbani animal is slaughtered, its blood becomes acceptable to Allah before it falls to the ground.So give Qurbani with complete purity, ”said the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.



If the qurbani cannot  paid


If for some reason qurbani is unable to pay and qurbani's days are up, then if qurbani does not buy the animal, the amount must be deducted.

If you have  for the past few years and have not paid due to ignorance of the law, you have to calculate the price of the goat in the middle of the  every year and do sadaqa.There is no kala in the Qurbani

The days of Qurbani are from the morning of the 10th day of the Tulhaj crescent until the time of the crescent sun on the 12th day of the crescent.The first of these three days is the best day.In the Shafi'i Madhhab, which gives us the most for the Qurbani given on this day, the Qurbani can be given till the 13th day of the month.qurbani can be given at night as well as during the days of the following qurbani.But it's not special.

If it is a town where Eid prayers are held, it should be cut only after the completion of Eid prayers.

If there is one mosque in a large city with many mosques, everyone in that city can do qurbani.Although the qurbani maker has not yet worshiped Eid, it is important to note the law of the place where the qurbani given animal is located.

The qurbani giver should not notice the location.



Laws of the Joint (Sacrifice)Qurbani

1. Cow and camel can give qurbani together with seven people.


2.qurbani akika, sadaqa, nerchai, nafil should not be combined with a cow or a camel.


3.One can pay for more than one share and acquire the same number of shares.


4.If a cow is slaughtered together by members of the same family, its meat does not have to be stocked.


5.It is not necessary to read the name of the Qurbani givers.Enough to think in mind.



The method of giving the Qurbani


1.Loading on it and riding on it should not be left for hire.


2.If there is any news on any of the above, the specified amount must be paid in sadaqa.


3.Qurbani will be fulfilled even if he forgets what Bismillahi says.


4.It is makrooh to slaughter another animal by placing it in front of one animal.

5.Before slaughtering, it should be fed and watered,It is makrooh to chop while hungry and starving.
